Hosting Services

We run our own hosting to ensure that we can provide you with the optimal service for your website. Our hosting is professional level hosting costing £120 + VAT p/a. We own our servers ensuring that they are never over-crowded, that they are are up-to-date and able to run the code we write. If you have additional domains pointing at the same website, or want only email, or even simply to park a domain until you need it, then all of those are at greatly reduced prices costing only £20 + VAT p/a.

Email is a part of the hosting we offer - we have a 'sensible use' restriction, but otherwise you can run as many email addresses as you wish, use them with iPhones and Blackberries, or pick up email from the web. There is no additional charge for email.

We are often asked whether our websites can use other hosting than our own, the simple answer is yes, we are not restrictive. However, we will usually talk this through with you as a lot will depend on the complexity and sophistication of your website and what is offered by the other hosting company. We know that our sites will run on our servers, they will not always run on other servers if those machines are not up to date.

For those who want total flexibility you can buy or rent your own server and we will manage it for you. This is the optimum way of ensuring that you can use it as your business requires and for those needing a more confidential approach, it is ideal.

Alongside our hosting services we offer new domain name registration and management services. We can transfer in existing domains for hosting and management, as part of domain name consolidation, or you can use any of our hosting services while maintaining your existing domain name registrar.

What don't we do then? We are a business specialist, so our hosting is aimed at businesses who focus on what they do and have us help them with their website(s). We don't provide hosting for those who wish to code their own websites / have other companies do the coding - this can just lead to all sorts of issues for our other clients. We don't provide you with a control panel and expect you to do it yourself - you can email us / phone us and we will do it for you - we manage the hosting on your behalf.
